General FAQ
What is the inner lining?
Sherpa fleece, which is made from acrylic and polyester, but feels and looks like a sheep's fleece.
It's bonded to faux suede (polyester) and a 3mm layer of foam (non compressing).
Will the inner lining scratch, fluff or pill?
No, it's plush and high quality. It won't pill, it won't shred and definitely will not scratch.
Didn't you have a satin lining?
We did, but we no longer offer this due to manufacturing
problems, inferior protection and lack of snugness.

What sort of protection can i expect?
foof products are designed for use inside your pocket, case or bag. They're great for protection against dust and scratches and for providing your Apple devices
with a bit of style. In summary, foof products will not protect your MacBook or iPad or iPhone from major bumps, drops or (very) rough handling.
Can I request a different fabric?
If it's not on the website, it's not immediately available. However, you
can email us to find out if we will offer that style in the future.
Can you add pockets, straps, zippers, velcro, clips or a flap?
No, it's a protective sleeve. We've elected to avoid complexity by offering simplicity and beauty.

How snug is the foofpod fit?
The sherpa fleece foofpod is very snug. I have
been demo-ing throwing my iPhone around in a
sherpa fleece foofpod. Not a care in the world. Perhaps
i've lost the plot..
Will a foofpod stretch?
Not if you use it with the same device, ie: an iPhone.
If however, you put a thicker iPod Classic inside, it may
stretch a little, making it slightly less snug if you use
it again for a thinner iPhone. Clothes stretch too :)
Is the foofpod one-size-fits-all?
Yes. We've made things simpler. Apple's devices have been getting thinner
and becoming similar in dimensions, so we're now doing the same. The sherpa fleece
is very snug, but has plenty of latitude to accommodate subtle variations in
device size.
Is the iPhone 4G a snug fit?
It should be, we're unable to test the new iPhone as it's
not available in Australia until late July 2010. However,
we support the iPod Touch 2G which is a very similar size,
the difference being just 2mm. If you intend to use your existing foofpod
(previously used with a 2G/3G/3GS iPhone) the fit will
not be snug, as the fabric will have stretched. A new
foofpod should fit nicely with an iPhone 4G.
if you order one and the fit is not snug, we'll arrange
a free replacement if we revise the foofpod to match
the iPhone 4G specifically.
Can i use a foofpod with another silicone or rubber skin product?
Let's just say foofpod is designed for use with a naked iPhone or iPod.
How long will a foofpod last for?
Depends on your handling. Here is a quote from a customer:
"I purchased one over five years ago for a 40GB iPod and I've used
it almost daily. Aside from it being a little grubby, it's as good as new"
Do you support the iPod Nano, Nintendo DS Lite or Treo?
No, sorry - we no longer support these devices.
Can I have a foofpod in XYZ"?
No. You can try a close match to the supported items list above, but
we haven't seen your device, so don't listen to us, we have no idea.
If your device is 1cm smaller in width, but 1cm thicker in depth,
the snugness factor "should" be the same. If it's 0.5cm thinner,
but 0.5cm wider, then that "could" work too.

Is there a customer foofbag review?
There is one with loads of photographs on the MacRumors forum;
We converted it to a PDF so you can download it. It's un-edited. (used with permission
from the forum poster).
Will my MacBook or iPad slip out?
Your device should not slip out on it's own, unless you happen to point
the foofbag opening to the ground and loosen your grip and start to
shake it out. It's not the sort of thing you should be doing anyway, as
unibody devices are pretty slippery (with or without a protective sleeve).
Can I request a custom PC size?
No, we cannot guarantee snugness if we don't have the PC laptop to test
the fit. The end result is not satisfying for you or us.
